Astrology is the study and interpretation about events in human life and its association with the relative position of celestial objects and terrestrial events. Hindu culture has attached importance to astronomical events such as the position of the sun and eclipses. Ancient Hindu India had developed elaborate systems for predicting terrestrial events from celestial observations.
What is Zodiac?
Zodiac, in astrology, is a belt around the heavens extending 9° north or south, the plane of Earth’s orbit and of the Sun’s annual path. The zodiac is divided into twelve signs, each occupying 30° of celestial longitude.The 12 signs of the zodiac are Cancer, Leo, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Libra, Aries, Scorpio, Virgo, Taurus, Pisces, Gemini and Aquarius.
